กลับมาเตือนกันอีกครั้ง ห้ามถ่ายสำเนาบัตรประชาชน ด้านหลังเด็ดขาด!!
เมื่อวันที่ 31 มกราคม เพจ สำนักประชาสัมพันธ์เขต 7 ได้โพสต์ข้อความระบุว่า เตือนเลยจ้า ห้ามถ่ายสำเนาบัตรประจำตัวประชาชนด้านหลังโดยเด็ดขาด
1 มีเลข Laser ID ที่ต้องใช้ร่วมกับเลขประจำตัวประชาชน 13 หลัก หน่วยงานของรัฐ และสถาบันการเงินใช้ทำธุรกรรม ตรวจสอบ และยืนยันตัวตน
2 อาจถูกสวมรอยนำข้อมูลในบัตรไปใช้ในทางผิดกฎหมาย หากหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้
ในกรณีที่จำเป็นต้องถ่ายด้านหลังบัตร หรือต้องกรอกข้อมูลเลข Laser ID ให้ดำเนินการตามนี้
1 หากบางหน่วยงาน ยืนยันว่าต้องถ่ายสำเนาบัตรทั้งด้านหน้าและหลัง ให้เราปิดเลข Laser ID ตอนถ่ายสำเนา
2 หากต้องกรอกข้อมูลเลข Laser ID ด้านหลังบัตร ให้ตรวจสอบให้แน่ใจว่าเว็บไซต์หรือแอปพลิเคชั่นเหล่านั้น เป็นของหน่วยงานราชการและสถาบันการเงินจริงหรือไม่ และระวังเรื่องเว็บไซต์ปลอม
ที่สำคัญ หากต้องใช้สำเนาบัตรประจำตัวประชาชนในการยืนยันต่างๆ ให้ถ่ายสำเนาเฉพาะด้านหน้าบัตรเท่านั้น เพราะโดยลงชื่อรับรองสำเนาถูกต้อง พร้อมระบุวัตถุประสงค์และวันที่ให้ชัดเจนทุกครั้ง

1 ในอดีตวันหมดอายุบัตรประจำตัวประชาชนจะอยู่ด้านหลังบัตร จึงต้องถ่ายทั้งหน้าและหลัง
2 ปัจจุบันสามารถใช้ข้อมูลจากในชิปการ์ดด้านหน้าบัตร แต่อาจจะยังไม่แพร่หลาย จึงมีบางหน่วยงานยังต้องใช้สำเนาบัตรประจำตัวประชาชนอยู่
3 กรมการปกครองประกาศมีประกาศตั้งแต่ 22 มีนาคม 2556 ว่าหน่วยงานของรัฐ รัฐวิสาหกิจ และเอกชน ที่ยังจำเป็นต้องถ่ายสำเนาบัตรประชาชน ควรถ่ายสำเนาบัตรด้านหน้าเพียงด้านเดียว
