นิเทศจุฬาฯ ยกเครื่องหลักสูตรใหม่
นิเทศ จุฬาฯ ปรับหลักสูตรป.ตรี ปี 61 ยกเครื่องใหญ่ 2 สาขา ที่เหลือกปรับเล็กน้อย เน้นเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและสื่อดิจิทัล อุตสาหกรรมสื่อและการสื่อสาร เพิ่มชั่วโมงฝึกงานนิสิต และบูรณาการการเรียน
วันนี้( 26ก.พ.)ศ.ดร.ปาริชาต สถาปิตานนท์ คณบดีคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เปิดเผยว่า คณะนิเทศศาสตร์ จุฬาฯ ได้ติดตามสถานการณ์ที่เปลี่ยนแปลงมาตลอดว่าจะกระทบกับอาชีพสื่อมวลชนหรือไม่อย่างไร ซึ่งพบว่าคนเรายังต้องการข้อมูลข่าวสารอยู่ เพียงแต่รูปแบบการรับข่าวสารจะต้องมีความหลากหลายมากขึ้น ขณะเดียวกันคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ ซึ่งมีหน้าที่ในการผลิตสื่อมวลชนออกมาจึงจำเป็นจะต้องปรับหลักสูตรต่างๆ เพื่อให้สอดรับกับการเปลี่ยนแปลง ดังนั้นในปีการศึกษา 2561 ทางคณะได้มีการปรับหลักสูตรนิเทศศาสตร์ ระดับปริญญาตรี ใน 5 สาขา จาก 7 สาขา โดยเป็นการยกเครื่องใหม่ 2 สาขา คือ1.สาขาวารสารสนเทศ เปลี่ยนชื่อสาขาวิชาวารสนเทศและสื่อใหม่ และ2.สาขาวิชาการกระจายเสียง เปลี่ยนชื่อสาขาวิชาการออกแบบและผลิตสื่อ ส่วนสาขาที่เหลือเป็นการปรับเล็กน้อย เพื่อให้ทันสมัย
ศ.ดร.ปาริชาต กล่าวต่อไปว่า การปรับครั้งนี้ยังมีการปรับรายวิชาหรือปรับเนื้อหาใหม่ จำนวน 255 รายวิชาจาก 275 รายวิชา ให้สอดคล้องกับการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและสื่อดิจิทัล อุตสาหกรรมสื่อและการสื่อสาร รวมทั้งการก้าวทันการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรม ทั้งในบริบทไทยและกระแสโลกาภิวัฒน์ มุ่งเน้นให้นิสิตมีประสบการณ์การทำงานในสายงานที่เกี่ยวข้องมากขึ้น มีการเพิ่มชั่วโมงการฝึกงานจาก 100 ชั่วโมง เป็น 200 ชั่วโมง อีกทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้นิสิตศึกษาแบบบูรณาการระหว่างสาขาและระหว่างศาสตร์มากขึ้น โดยสามารถเลือกเรียนรายวิชาของสาขาวิชาอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสาขาวิชาเอก และนำมาคำนวณหน่วยกิตได้ นิสิตเลือกศาสตร์นอกคณะเป็นสาขาวิชาโทได้ เป็นต้น ที่สำคัญการเรียนการสอนเป็นแบบผู้เรียนเป็นศูนย์กลาง นิสิตเลือกเรียนรายวิชาเลือกในหมวดวิชาชีพพื้นฐาน และวิชาซศึกษาทั่วไปได้โดยอิสระตามความสนใจ เป็นต้น
